Pate Kiddos

I had such a fun time photographing these two little kiddos- John and Aaron Pate.  Both sure knew how to keep the energy high and ham it up for the camera!  It was hard to get the two together for a shot, so what did mom and dad do?  Got them in their diapers and let them play together in a puddle in the park!  The kids loved it, and the camera did too!  Mom and dad definitely know the definition of flexibility :)

I was also able to get some pictures of the Wayne family as they were up at the resort.  They've got little Ben, and one on the way.  Ben was a little charmer for the camera!  Those blue eyes are unbelievable!  

The Miehe Family

I threw a surprise 30th birthday party for my husband this past weekend.  All of his groomsmen and ushers from our wedding were invited up to the resort for the weekend to help him celebrate the end of his 20's :)  Although there were a lot of highlights from the weekend, my highlight was of course the picture-taking times.  I had the opportunity to take some family photos for some friends while they were up there.  Here is a little preview of Richie and Jess and their little girls, Lucy and Pearl.  Unfortunately, we had a little rain and wind during the process, however we still had some great smiles!  

Alex's Senior Photos!

Oh, how I remember my own senior photos like they were yesterday!  Unfortunately, yesterday is about 12 years ago now :)  My husband was just asking the question "who started the tradition of senior photos anyway??"  Although a good question -- I have no idea what the answer is...and I say keep it going.  I had so much fun doing these photos for Alex!  He was a natural-- and a trooper in our 95 degree heat!  Good luck with your senior year, Alex!
